Kaylee waited just outside of Serenity searching for anybody who was looking for passage off of this planet. As long as they had the coins and weren't dangerous to the rest of the crew or passengers they had already taken on board then they were more then welcome on her ship. Well techinally it was Mal's ship but she cared and maintained Serenity so a part of felt as if it were her baby even though it was not flesh and blood but metal and oil. She loved were she worked and the people who had become her friends and family and she would never trade that for anything else in this unviverse no matter what. Noticing a copper coil not exactly where it should be Kaylee frowned wishing Mal would spend a little bit more money on fixing Serenity up properly. There was only so much she could do with the parts she had already re-used time and time again. Just as she reached into her back pocket to pull a spanner she saw a young woman approch her. "Well sure. We're always looking for passengers, the more the merrier I say." Kaylee said with a bright smile as she looked Eve over wondering what her story was. Kaylee loved meeting new people and hearing about their lives and all the places they had been to and everything they had seen. "I'm Kaylee, ships mechanic and welcoming committe and this is Serenity." She said pointing up to the large docked ship. "She may not look like much as Mal our captain always says but she can do the job when you need her to." Always proud to talk about the ship she loved and called home Kaylee turned her attention back to Eve. "Well lets get you on board then. Do you have any more luggage that you need to bring with you ?" She asked looking behind Eve to see if the young woman had brought anything else with her to take on her trip aboard Serenity.
